The Cottage is brand new and located in a beautiful area by the biggest salmon river in Iceland. This area is known for birdwatching as many species take refuge to nest during summer. The cottage is close to many Icelandic wonders such as glaciers, volcanoes, lava fields, waterfalls and the breathtaking site Landmannalaugar.

The cottage has a central floor heating which will have you feel just at home. The kitchen is fully equipped and there is also a grill on the terrace. You can relax in your private hot tub and cold tub and then you can end the day in our cozy home cinema (projector) installed in one of the bedrooms.

We have a total of 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (2 showers) and one living room/kitchen. In an upstairs double bedroom, a video projector is connected to Apple TV and Google TV with Netflix, Disney+ and Amazon prime.

 

Hekla Luxury Cottage is about 110 kms from Reykjavik, or 2,5 hours drive from KEF airport. 

The cottage is only accessible by car.
